About Jesel Nitro - Alcohol Roller Lifters

A Nitro fueled engine roaring down the drag strip is one of the most powerful and intense engines in existence, with horsepower estimates surpassing 11,000 HP and cylinder pressures exceeding 10,000 psi. This immense power places enormous stress on components, especially the exhaust lifter, where failure can result in catastrophic fireballs and oil downs. Before the release of Jesel’s Nitro-Alcohol Roller Lifter, teams struggled to get 10 runs from a set of lifters. Now, with Jesel’s innovative design, teams achieve over 35 runs before requiring a rebuild—saving time and resources without compromising performance.

Jesel’s ultra strong Nitro-Alcohol Hemi™ Lifter sets the industry standard for lifters in blown nitro and alcohol engines. Engineered to withstand extreme cylinder pressures, these lifters have been the trusted choice for Nitro Methane and Alcohol engines since 2006. Featuring REM polished, one piece, precision ground tool steel bodies, these lifters are built to handle the toughest racing conditions. A heat-treated stainless steel tie bar securely connects the lifters, ensuring stability and durability under high stress loads.

Precision Roller and Needle Package
Jesel Nitro-Alcohol Lifters include a premium roller and needle package with precision-sorted tool steel needles, distributing loads across a .378” dual-pinned axle. This advanced design ensures even load distribution, extending lifter life and reducing the risk of failure in high-RPM applications.

Customizable Options
Available for Brad Anderson and Alan Johnson blocks, these lifters come without provisions for pushrod oiling, as the blocks themselves do not support it. Engine builders can choose from pushrod cup heights with either Jesel’s preferred low pivot or a .200” raised cup location to suit their specific build requirements. Lifter centers range from 1.800” to 2.000”, providing versatility for various engine configurations and applications in drag racing.
